In fact Fallon has two big events, Susanville has another and to the south Baja will echo to the song of racing.   CAR MEETS/CRUISES: • On Thursday, from 4 until 7 p.m., the National Auto Museum is hosting a Hot August Nights Show and Shine. RENO, NV (April 28) – Racing Preview this time is full of events, from a special project, car meets as well as on track racing. The TV will also be full of various events to watch.   SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: • Reno Area Dirt Riders (RAD) is combining forces with the Hills Angels and Desert Pigs for a special project. Once again more series are starting their seasons while others are continuing.   BREAKING NEWS: • The news actually came out last week but the owners of the Wild West Motorsports Park have decided to close it down after nine years of many events. RENO, NV (March 31) — Racing Preview for this Easter week is light as most major series are taking it off. Still there are car meets, racing in this region plus some on TV as things take a short breather before getting rolling again. CAR MEETS AND CRUISES: • Once again the weekend gets rolling on Friday evening with the Fernley Main Street Cruise. It runs from 7 until 9 p.m. with the Wigwam being the meeting point. One benefit is the lower gas prices if one comes from Reno or Sparks. • Sunday has two different car meets. Up
