    RENO, NV (Oct.4) – This week’s Racing Preview has several races to either attend or watch plus a special event here in Reno. As usual TV and the Internet have events both nationally and internationally. For those missing all the show-n-shines from the summer take heart there is one more to go. Hot August Nights has its Fall Frenzy this Saturday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Baldini’s Casino the final show-n-shine for the year.     RENO, NV (Sept. 27) – Racing Preview this week has a bunch for the two-wheel crowd both locally, over the hill and on TV. There are also races to watch for oval track fans on TV and the Internet. We’ll start with the one oval track race in our region as Tonopah Speedway ends its season Saturday evening with Fan Appreciation night.     RENO (Sept. 20) – Racing Preview for this week has an major event in our area plus others and a varied menu on TV and streamed over the Internet. There is something for just about any racing fan. In this area Saturday starts with the latest points race by the Northern Nevada Kart club at their home track, Desert Park Raceway. With only two events left in the season this will be important for those seeking championships or improving their positions.     RENO (Sept. 13) – Racing Preview this week highlights the major event in our area plus regional events both here and in Northern California. Also included is TV and what is streaming on the Internet are also covered. Here in this area the biggest event are the annual National Championship Air Races, the only event on the planet where pilots go head-to-head and race each other around a marked course.     RENO (Sept 6) – Racing preview for this week is a varied menu even though the season her and else where is winding down. There are live events as well as much to view on TV and the Internet. The weekend kicks off at the Battle Mountain Raceway as the track hosts its annual Silver Kart Classic Friday and Saturday. This is probably the biggest Outlaw Kart show in Northern Nevada and drivers from California, Oregon, Nevada and Idaho are expected.     RENO, NV (Aug. 30) – Racing preview for this week has a mixed menu. In this region most of the oval tracks are dark although there is a big off road race. Over in TV and Internet land there are some major events to watch or stream. The major race in our area is the Fallon 250 desert race out at Salt Wells, about 35 miles or so east of Fallon. This year there is a new title sponsor for the event P.C.I Race Radios. As usual Saturday is a two-stage event with the production classes starting at 6 a.m.

    RENO, NV (Aug. 23) – This week we have another national event visiting our area plus regional racing. Over in TV World there are several events but some series are off before the big Labor Day weekend. The major event will be at Wild West Motorsports Park, located off I-80 east of Sparks. It’s the return of the Lucas Oil Off Road Series with two days of action on this fast, yet hilly course. Locally it’s going to be a varied, huge weekend for race fans and some will have to choose what they will watch or participate in.     RENO (Aug. 9) – Another busy week for race fans and in fact fans of classic cars as its Hot August Nights here in the Reno/Sparks area. And of course there is plenty on TV to watch as well.     RENO (July 26) – Racing preview has another busy weekend with a major event coming to our area this weekend. Over in California there will be two motocross events as well as others nationally and internationally Fernley 95A Speedway has the biggest local event this weekend as the Sprint Car Challenge is coming Saturday with festivities, including a bike give away for the kids.     RENO (July, 19) – Racing Preview this week not only has regional events but a couple of special ones happening close to our area and to the east.     RENO (July 13) – Racing Preview for this weekend is another buffet of varied treats for racing fans. This not only includes events in our region but some in California as well as those on TV and streamed across the Internet. Oval track fans have two events to choose from on Saturday. To the east Rattlesnake Raceway, starting at 6 p.m. has the cars and Outlaw Karts, that start early in the afternoon.     RENO (July 5) – Now that the 4th of July is over racing is ramping up again as there are local and regional events this weekend. And the TV has a varied schedule as does the Internet. Locally three area tracks will be in action Saturday night. To the east Lovelock Speedway hosts another points race starting at 7 p.m. and about that same time to the north in Susanville, California there are more races at Diamond Mountain Speedway. Rattlesnake Raceway will host a special event this weekend as it’s an all Mad Metal show, probably beginning at 6 p.m.
