With Christmas and New Year’s fast approaching the amount of racing is slim to none except for what on the tube. But there are two events that are motorsport related happening this weekend.

 

RMA is hosting its annual Christmas Party this Saturday from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

RMS is having its annual Christmas Part on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. A good chance to hang out with the crew, see what’s new and kids can get a free picture with Santa.

After a six-year absence Bishop Motocross has put life back into the course located at the Tri-County Fairground. This Saturday they’ll host the final practice session of the year and gates open at 8 a.m. with racing beginning on January 10th in the new year.

Once again MAVTV has a bunch of racing programs, most being rebroadcasts of earlier events.

On Thursday, starting at 10 a.m. there is a Legends race from Charlotte, which is part of the Summer Shootout series. Then at 2 p.m. it’s Lucas Oil Modifieds from Irwindale followed by Speed Sport at 5 p.m. then the recap of the IHRA drag race series.

Saturday begins with Motorweek, a program on Channel 5. Then at 1 p..m. NBC broadcasts Straight Rhythm where the stars of motocross race in a straight line across a huge rhythm section.

MAVTV follows at 5 p.m. with Lucas Oil ACS sprint cars then at 7 p.m. with Lucas Oil Drag Boats.

Sunday begins at 11 a.m. with Pro 4 and Pro 2 Lucas Oil Off Road races from Lake Elsinore. Then the day ends from 5 to 6 p..m. with a double session of Dave Despain’s interview show.

On that same day, starting at 10 a.m., Fox Sports 1 has two hours of Monster Jam action. Then from 2 until 5 p.m. CBS Sports airs the World Finals for the World of Outlaws series from Charlotte.

It is the final event for Steve Kinser, the King of the Outlaws, as he’s retiring as a driver.

And three weeks from now the 2015 Supercross season begins with Anaheim 1.
