PREVIEW — JANUARY 28 – FEBRUARY 1

Although the Super Bowl will dominate the sports news this weekend there is still some racing to be found on TV. And the first race of this year is only two weeks away.

Thursday is a busy day on the tube with NBC Sports airing NASCAR America at 1:30 p.m. followed at 3 p.m. by Race Hub on Fox Sports 1.

MAVTV also has a busy schedule on Thursday beginning at 12:30 p.m. with Dirty 30 showing this week the USAC National Sprint Car finale. Then at 1:30 they re-air an America Sprint Boat race.

At 2 p.m. there is SRL racing in Las Vegas followed at 4 p.m. by the news program Speed Sport. Then at 5:30 p.m. it’s the IHRA Nitro Jam Drag Racing show.

Friday as usual is kind of empty but on Saturday beginning at noon there is coverage of the FIA World Rally Championship from Argentina. As usual there will be displays of some truly wild driving on roads.

Then at 3:30 p.m. Inside Drag Racing covers the Western Motorcycle Drag Racing Association’s event from Sturgis, South Dakota.
