NORTHERN NEVADA MUSCLE + NNKC, ROUND 3

NORTHERN NEVADA MUSCLE + NNKC ROUND 3 RACES

Some of the cars lined up for the cruise to South Lake Tahoe.

RENO,NV (June 29) – Northern Nevada Muscle had a cruise on this summer day. They met by the Kohls at the south end of Reno.

The group lined up just before starting the cruise.

About a dozen cars, plus a Jeep showed up and around 11:30 they headed for South Lake Tahoe and the cooler temps up there.

The cruise ended up close to Lake Tahoe where the weather was cooler. Photo courtesy – Beth Marcotie.

It was a nice summer time cruise that was organized by Beth Marcotie. The destination was a parking lot very close to the lake.

• That same day the Northern Nevada Kart Club was having the third round in its 2025 season. Due to a make up race the club has races three weekends straight. This time the long course was used and a nice breeze helped hold down the heat.

Sadly this reporter made a huge mistake and I want to apologize to the club. While importing the photos I made a mistake and deleted all 44 photos I had of the races. So while I’m posting the results there are no photos to go along with it.

Just one of the shots Umlaut Photography took at the NNKC race on Sunday. Photo courtesy – Umlautphotography.com.

I want to thank Umlaut Photography for the two shots I am using in the article. He was a photographer taking shots of karts on the track from all different angles during the races and his work is first rate..

He takes pictures from many angles Here is Rachel Williams on her way for a heat race. Photo Umlautphotography.com.

To check out his work please check his website at, www.umlautphotography.com, then go to the section for the Gold Rush on June 29. Always good idea to help support your track photographer as photos make great gifts for friends and sponsors.

The results of Round 3 are at the end of this article.
