  • TRUNK OR TREAT PLUS RACING WEEKEND

RENO, NV (Oct. 31) — Great weekend for kids with five days of Trunk or Treat events and the final oval track race in our region. And there’s more to come over the next few weeks.  Reporter’s Note: Due to physical problems was unable to attend the Halloween race but am including the results at the end of this article.  As a result it’s going to be shorter than my usual Monday post. And want to give a special thanks to those photographers that helped me with their submissions.  • This past weekend, due to a schedule conflict, Diamond Mountain Speedway,

  • RACING PREVIEW: OCTOBER 27 TO 31

RENO, NV (Oct. 26) — Much going on this weekend, especially with Halloween on Monday. There is also a bunch more racing as well including the last oval track event in our region. But first something special.  DEDICATION: I’m starting this off with a dedication. Over the past few years Summit Racing Parts has published a great schedule showing cruises and other things. It came from the efforts of Judy Oppio, who created the calendar for the classic car community. SPARKS, NV (Oct 23, 2022) — A cool morning greeted those diehards that showed up for the recent Sparks Cars & Coffee meet. Despite the temperature there was a good variety of cars on display. Not to mention the close by Starbucks had hot coffee and chocolate to help warm folks up.  Over on one side there was a line of Mustangs, all of them had their hoods up. One of them is a vintage Mustang that’s been beautifully restored by Jufue Reyes, most call him J.R., and his car is a rare find these days.  “The car is a

Didn’t to any interviews but focused on comparisons, motors and one exotic car. And there were many.  There of course was an import line, more than one actually.   Close by was a new Ford Bronco parked next to a Pontiac Fiero. Quite a comparison between both
