    RENO, NV (August 3) — One of the happiest events in the Reno Sparks area is the annual Hot August Nights. It’s a ten-day celebration that brings people to this area, not to mention a huge economic boost to the region. Hot August Nights reported registrations were sold out at 5,500 cars were registered. The event brings around a half million people to the area and has a huge economic impact. Things got rolling on Friday when Summit Racing Products had a Show ‘N’ Shine at their location in Sparks.     SPARKS, NV (Aug. 31) – Hot August Nights (HAN) 2018 is in the history books and now it’s time for a recap.     RENO, NV (May 18) – Today and tomorrow Virginia Street in downtown Reno is the site of the annual Hot August Night’s Sprint Revival. It’s a preview of this year’s festival that celebrates Cars and music. Teresa’s Garage Radio Show was represented by her 1950’s vintage Chevy.  In the front there were free stickers that advertised the radio show.     This is a happy week for many here in Northwest Nevada as it’s time to celebrate and create memories. Some of the sights are in a photo gallery at the end of this article. RENO/SPARKS – Hot August Nights is one of the most anticipated festivals in the Reno/Sparks, Nevada area.
