RENO, NV (Nov. 29) – It’s that time again to take a look back at this unusual season so I’ll begin with the Northern Nevada Kart Club. This 2020 season was anything but normal although the club was able to get in all six races points it had scheduled. Due to the pandemic restrictions the originally scheduled rounds, April 19 and May 10 were canceled, actually postponed. Then in June the club was able to get its season rolling. Two events however were never reinstated as KPX canceled its season so no race here. Then the Mike Arnold Enduro, slated

CARSON CITY, NV (Nov.22): This weekend was when Carson Cars & Coffee had their second meet of the month. Of course this also might be the last for a while if another quarantine is announced. Heading the Carson group is Patrick Paul who said, “Can’t really tell if it grows or not as there are kind of two different parts of it, the nighttime stuff and the daytime stuff. It really depends on the time of the year and how many car shows they’re having. “A lot of it depends on what Reno and Sparks are doing. Reno is every

RENO, NV (Nov.15) – Reno Cars & Coffee held its third weekend of the month meet at the Del Real Pub and Grill on Sunday. Bright sunny weather with a nice breeze greeted those that attended. Variety is the theme of these meets. It varies from the two Mclarens to a fixed up VW Bug and everything in between. Much of the work on the cars has been done by the owners and hoods are raised to show off their handiwork with motors. For car people it’s almost like being in a candy store. • MRANN: HALLOWEEN AT NIGHTINGALE

NIGHTINGALE, NV (Nov. 1) – A long time tradition was observed this weekend as the Tank Slappers Motor Cycle club staged the most recent round in the MRANN series. This race always falls on the Nevada Day/Halloween weekend. Warm dry weather greeted the big bike racers Sunday and they used a Le Mans start to get things going. Each class has a separate start and riders would prop their bikes with either a stake or kickstand if they had one. When a banner is raised everyone is ready and when it drops the riders run to their bikes. Now motocross
