RENO, NV (July 23) — July is almost over with and soon Hot August Nights will be upon us. Until then there are car meets as well as races in our region.

• This time I’m starting out with Wednesday evening. That’s when PJ&CO on Wells Ave. has its weekly bike night and this time Big Valley Honda had a shelter full of bikes races by youngsters.

The reason was a visit by Moto Mouth Mini Team and seven of their young riders were present. They had raffle tickets to see as well as prizes.

Then later the young racers had posters of themselves racing to autograph.
