RENO, NV (Dec. 17) — Almost Christmas and we’re deep in the annual Re-Run Zone. Despite that there are car meets, maybe two cruises, and people getting ready for the New Year and racing to resume.

CAR MEETS:

• The weekend begins at 8 a.m. when Kim’s Kruisers meet at Kim’s Donut and Tea Shop. Location is 1328 U.S. 395 North in Gardnerville.

• Saturday it’s the Moss Lake Holiday Jeep Meet Up. Things start at 2 p.m. when everyone meets at the Raleys, located at 4788 Caughlin Parkway. The cruise begins at 2:30 and it’s suggested to bring wood for a bondfire.

• Sunday, starting at 10 a.m. Reno Cars & Coffee has its second meet of the month. This will be their last one of this year. Location is by the Human Bean Coffee Stand near the corner of Keitzke and Moana Lanes.

• Later there is a cruise where everyone meets at Galena High School. Meeting time is 11:30 while the roll out is at noon. Depending on the weather the route may be changed.
RACING (4-WHEEL):
• As usual for this time of the year all the oval tracks in our region are dark. However the weekend after New Year’s the 2026 schedules will be posted.
RACING & PRACTICE (MOTOCROSS):
• If you have a little one that would like their picture taken with Santa there are two places to go on Saturday.

- Reno Motorsports, located at 962 Terminal Way, close to Mill Street, has Moto Santa. There are free pictures, from 10 until 1 p.m., plus giveaways, snacks, treats and some last minute gift ideas.
- Not away, at Reno Harley-Davidson there are photos with Santa from 11 until 2 p.m. on Saturday. The dealership is located at 2315 Market Street in Reno by the freeway.

• A few clubs are also involved in charity events this weekend.

– On Saturday, starting at 9 a.m. Nevada Nomads have the annual Sally Conforte Community Turkey Giveaway. It’s part of the annual Reno Toy Run and is at the HAMC Clubhouse located at 3103 Skye Terrace in Sparks.

- In Fallon on Saturday, starting at 2 p.m. the Nobody Forever Motorcycle Club has a free Christmas Dinner. Location is at the VFW Post 1002 at 405 Maine Street in Fallon.
- Further east there is the Churchill CO.POBOB is having a Toy Run from 11 until 4 p.m. Saturday. For qust5ions or families in need its suggested they reach out at Facebook@churchillco.popob.

• There are practice schedules but they could be impacted by the weather so be sure to check before heading out.
- REP Racing MX is showing the PCMX is closed and Riverfront MX will only have practice from 4 until 9 p.m. on Thursday.

- Closer to home the Sandbox MX in Fernley has a DCMX Private Vet day, from 9 until 2 p.m. Saturday. Sunday, from 9 until 2 p.m. is open practice.

• E Street MX Park looks like it will be closed this weekend but just in case check their page on Friday.

• MMX Racing will have practice from noon until dark on the Sand and Kid’s tracks. There will be practice Saturday and Sunday if weather permits, so be sure to check their page Friday.

Due to the weather coming in OSMX pushed their next ride day, from 9 until 2 p.m., to Sunday, December 28.
RACING (NATIONAL & INTERNATIONAL):
• Once again we’re deep in the Re-Run Zone. However if you want to check some site and see at least re-runs of other races there are places to go on the Internet. Some are www.fanschoice.tv, www.mavtv.com, www.dirtvision.com, www.floracing.com and of course www.youtube.com.
