MRANN 2025 AWARDS BANQUET

RENO, NV (Dec.4) — While the New Year is here it’s time for series to award last season’s champions. The MRANN series did this on a rainy Saturday at the Boomtown Casino.

A table full of trophies awaited the riders.

On this night those riders that finished in the top three of their class were honored. There was an entire table bull of the hardware hey would receive.

Class over all winners received these trophies.

For the class champions there were special trophies for them.

REPORTR’S NOTE: There is a large photo gallery at the end of this article for the winners. To see the full list of standings please go to www.racemrann.com and check the standings.

The night was a two-part affair. First those that race on Saturday were given awards; this was followed by a great buffet style dinner from Boom Town

After that Special Awards were handed out and the big bike awards followed

At the bottom of the age ladder were the 50cc 6 & Under riders.

On Saturday the youngest racers compete as well as the Saturday Women and Bombers, those racing older big bikes. They race on a short course.

The youngest class is 50c, 6 & Under. The top three were Mason Viadyka, Lee Ackerman and Ryder Brown.

It was a very close points battle in the 50cc 7 & Over Class.

The 50cc, 7 & Over Class was a very tight points battle in the end Jesse Chandler took the top spot just 10 points ahead of runner up Parker Coons. The next group was the Pee Wee 4-Stroke Class where Jesse Shriver won the overall.

Moving up next were the 65cc classes and Gage Sessions toped his group. In the 100cc or Mini Classes and Justin Johnson was that overall winner. In the Bomber Class Tyler Rasmussen was the overall winner.

Here are the top 3 Saturday Women’s Experts.

Saturday Women race on the same short course as do the 100cc or Mini Bikes. Jordan Jones was the Women’s expert winner while Presley Hayes topped the Amateurs and Kaeleigh Rodgers was the highest placed Novice.

The youngest of all riders are those competing in the Stacyc Class.

Just before the break all those Stacyc racers present were called up on stage. They were given a badge that was hung around their neck. This group is the future of the sport.

After the dinner break special awards were handed out.

Keygan Pheasant earned the Sportsman of the Award.

The Sportsman of the year went to Keygan Pheasant, who gave a lot of help to others during the events.

The Family of the Year award went to the Danner family.

The Family of the Year award went to the Danner Family that has two sons racing in the series.

Now it was time for the Big Bike classes and awards. These riders race usually on Sunday and they use a long course that’s several miles long.

Not everyone was present so here are the 200 Amateur winners.

Here are some of the top 20 riders picking up the plates they’ll use in the 2026 season.

Those in the top 20 in points will get to have a front plate on their bike showing where they finished. Once their names were called everyone moved to the front of the stage and picked up their front plate.

The top rider’s bike and trophy were by the podium all night.

Now only one more trophy and plate was left, that was for who earned the most points during the season. A delighted Blayde Jones received the large trophy and stood by his bike that was on the podium riser.

Blayde Jones and his wife Lexi celebrate his winning the Number 1 plate. He’ll ride with that number next season.

Asked about his year he said, “Oh man it’s challenging, you have to put a whole race season together. I always thought when I was racing, when I was younger, that you just had to get one race right, like ‘I got to win today’ but now you’ve got to put that whole season together.

“What’s cool about this MRANN series is that’s there all sorts of different styles of racing. I believe the MRANN season is building because of how they are putting their races together”.

Then he thanked Jason at Let’s Ride. Seems he’s helped Blayde a lot and has earned his respect.

Now everyone has gone home and are enjoying their trophies as well as the jackets every over all class champion received,

The 2026 season for MRANN begins at the end of January.

For many this week starts preparation to the first race in 2026. That is on January 31/February 1 and put on by the Tankslappers MC. Location is the Fernley 95A Speedway south of the Fernley airport.

• There were two car meets on Sunday and both started at 10 a.m.
