RENO, NV (Jan. 14) — Well here we are, half way through the first month of 2026. This means we are coming out of the Re-Run Zone as there is more racing as well as car meets.
CAR MEETS:

• Things get rolling around 8 a.m. on Thursday when Kim’s Kruisers meet at Kim’s Donut and Tea Shop. Location is 1328 U.S. 395 North in Gardnerville.

• Carson Cars & Coffee is having its first meet of the New Year. Things get going at 6:30 p.m. Friday and the location is the Dutch Brothers Coffee Stand at the south end of Carson City.

• Sunday starts at 10 a.m. when Reno Cars & Coffee has its second meet of the month. Location is by the Human Bean Coffee Stand at the corner of Keitzke and Moana Lanes.
RACING (4-WHEEL):

• To the south the annual Parker 400, outside of Parker, Arizona. Pre-Running begins on Thursday.
• Here in Northern Nevada all the oval tracks and drag strips are shut down for the winter,
RACING & PRACTICE (MOTOCROSS):

• On Saturday the Motocross track at Reno-Fernley Raceway has its first Open Practice of the year. Times are 10 until 3 p.m. and the track is located south of downtown Fernley.

• REP Racing MX has a full schedule this weekend. Riverfront MX, from 4 until 9 p.m. has Open Practice on Thursday. Friday, from 4 until 9 p.m., is a Mini Only Night.
Sunday the track has Open Practice from 9 until 2 then at the same times Sunday is a DCMX Private Ride day.
- PCMX has open practice from 9 until 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
- The Sandbox MX in Fernley on Saturday from 10 until 3 p.m. has a DCMX Private Ride day. Sunday at those same times it’s Open Practice.

• This weekend Club Moto hosts Round 2 of the P.R.O. Motocross Frigid 8 series. Saturday is for practice while Sunday is race day.

• E Street is taking the weekend off but will resume operations starting on Tuesday.

• MMX Racing on Saturday, from 9 until 2 p.m. has practice on the Main, Sand and Kid’s tracks. Sunday’s times are 9 until 3 p.m. and it’s OSMX Ride Day on the Vintage track.
RACING (NATIONAL & INTERNATIONAL):
• TV is very slim this weekend. On Thursday at 6 p.m. Racer has Supercars Highlights from Australia.

• The week the AMA Supercross series moves south to San Diego. It can be seen live on Peacock that has Raceway Live at 9 a.m. then the race beginning at 4 p.m.

• Over at Tulsa, Oklahoma the Chili Bowl Nationals continues through Saturday. The event can be seen live on www.flotv.com.

• The Dakar Rally, in Saudi Arabia, continues through Saturday. Highlights, either the short or long version, can be seen on www.youtube.com.
