RENO, NV (Oct. 22) — Well here we are, the final weekend of October and there is a bunch going on. There are car meets, Trunk of Treats as well as motocross and off road racing.

• As usual Kim’s Kruisers get the weekend rolling with their Thursday morning meet. Time is 8 a.m. and the location is Kim’s Donuts & Tea House at 1328 U.S. 395 North in Gardnerville.
• Had not seen anything from Carson Cars & Coffee when this report was filed. However then tend to have pop up events on various days so please check their Face Book page.
• There are two Trunk-or-Treat meets this Friday.

- 775 Off-Road & Recovery Trunk-or- Treat is sponsored by Power Train Industries. Times are 4 to 7 p.m. an the location is; 4910 Longley Lane, Suite 103.

- That same evening, starting at 6 p.m. there is a Bump or Treat Car Show. Location is 6885 Sierra Center Parkway, #200.
• Here in Reno there are a pair of Trunk Or Treat events happening on Saturday.

- Northern Nevada Classics is having their 6th annual Trunk O Treat, from 5 until 7 p.m. Saturday. The new location is Pizzava at 670 E. Prater Way in Sparks. They are also asking if people have unwanted Eye Glasses to please donate them to the Lions Club.

- The other Saturday Trunk Or Treat is hosted by 1,2, Tea. Starts at 2 p.m. and the location is 199 Damonte Ranch Parkway.

- Reno Harley-Davidson also has a Halloween Party that’s a Trunk or Treat function from noon until 3 p.m. Saturday. Should be a great event for the youngsters.

• To the east, the Reno-Fernley Raceway is hosting a double header. First there is a drift event starting at 9 a.m. Then from 4 until 7 p.m. they will host a Trunk or Treat event. All this happens at the road course.

• On Sunday, starting around 10 a.m., Sparks Cars & Coffee will meet by the Starbucks on Disc Drive. Leaving Sparks on Pyramid go over the hill then turn right at the first signal. Head down the hill and look for the Starbucks on your right.

- That same day, from 2 until 4 p.m., the DMV office at the south end of Reno is hosting at Trunk or Treat event. Address is 9155 Double Diamond Parkway.
RACING (4-WHEEL):
• Currently all the oval tracks in our region are shut down until spring.
PRACTICE & RACING (MOTOCYCLES):
• REPORTERS NOTE: With a possible storm coming in, while the races will happen but if one is looking to practice be sure to check with the track before heading out.

• Next round of the MRANN series is the Nightmare on Knobby Hill. This time the big bikes race Saturday starting at 10 a.m. Saturday is when the Pee Wees, Minis, Women, Bombers and Evo classes race.

• REP Racing MX is busy this weekend. The Sandbox in Fernley on Saturday, from 9 until 2 p.m., has a private DCMX Ride Day. Sunday, from 9 until 2 p.m., is open practice.
- Riverfront has open practice from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. Thursday. PCMX will have open practice from 9 until 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

• MMX Racing has practice from 9 until 2 p.m. Saturday on the Main, Sand and Kid’s tracks. Sunday’s practice is from 9 until 3 p.m. on those same tracks.

• E-Street MX hosts Round 5 of the Battle Born MX Fall series. One can pre-register now. Saturday is practice while Sunday is race day.

- After Saturday’s practice is over they will have the Stacyc race. These are the youngest riders earning their racing spurs.

• If one is into motorcycle hill climbs this coming weekend is the Carnegie Classic. Two days of motoclimb racing.

• If you have a youngster racing motocross or with MRANN and they want to be part of the Moto Mouth Mini Team there is one more week to get an application in.

• Want to give a head’s up for next weekend’s Sandbox Mayhem, which is described as the ultimate team throw down. Saturday is for the youngsters plus there is a dinner at the track sponsored by the Stadium GP with trick or treating followed by a bonfire.
- Sunday gates open at 6 a.m. and the Big Bike and Cash Classes have a 9:30 start time. In the past this has been a wild event.

• On November 15th the AMA Enduro Cross presented by Progressive returns to the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center. The series has not been her for a couple or years and for further information please check www.endurocross.com.

• If you are associated with a car club you’ll want to be present at the 2026 Calendar Planning Meeting. Its hosted by the Nevada Car Coalition at the National Auto Museum. The goal is to prevent events from stepping on each other.

• The Nevada Car Coalition is also looking for an Activity Director. Great opportunity get be really involved in the events this group puts on.
• Davey’s American Racing is found on Face Book. His focus is on western oval tracks as well as national series.

He also posts schedules for various tracks and there related subjects.
