CLUBS HAVE A TOY RUN WEEKEND

RENO, NV (Dec. 7) — Two car clubs started separately then combined their toy runs on Sunday. That same day the Northern Nevada Confederation of Clubs had its annual toy run.

As usual there were a variety of cars, and a motorcycle, at the meet.

Reno Cars & Coffee got things rolling with their first weekend of the month meet. As usual there were many types of cars and even a motorcycle.

This owner put his toy on the motor of his car.

Several brought toys and one put his on the motor of his car. It was the groups 10th annual Toy Drive.

Lance Freitas came with a decorated car, Christmas sweater and Toy.

Lance Freitas, who runs the group, brought his decorated 1953 Hudson. Not only did he have his toy on the hood but wore his special Christmas sweater.

Later many cruised up to the Northtowne Winco Parking lot to join the Old Slammers of Reno.

As usual the 45th annual Reno Toy Run had a huge crowd of riders and others.

Not far away, at Reno Harley-Davidson, the Northern Nevada Confederation of Clubs held the 45th annual Toy Run. 

Those that registered for the Toy Run got a meal ticket and special t-shirt.

There was a huge group of riders and others registering. They got a meal ticket was well as a special t-shirt.

Inside the main Harley-Davidson showroom there was a tree and some barrels for the toys.

In side the main showroom there was a tree and some of the barrels used for collecting toys. Many barrels were placed at local businesses.

This group of toys were also donated to the Reno Toy Run.

Near by was another group of toys ready to be collected.

Mrs. Claus was busy handing out treats and posing for pictures.

Outside Mrs. Claus was handing out goodies and having her picture taken.

Finally it was time for Santa to lead the convoy as everyone headed to where toy would be handed out and the meal served.

Finally, at noon it was Kickstands Up and Santa led the parade to where the toys would be taken to as well as the meal served.

Old Slammers of Reno were joined by Reno Cars and Coffee where they collected toys.

Up at the Winco Parking Lot at Nothtowne the Old Slammers of Reno were holding their 12th annual Toys for Kids 2025 meet. Soon after they started Reno Cars & Coffee joined them.

There was an overflowing table of toys.

Their efforts benefited the Children’s Cabinet and there were many toys donated.

At least two and maybe three vans were filled with donated toys and bicycles.

Eventually the toys would fill at least two VW Vans and that included several bicycles.

This decorated VW van was at the meet.

The group is for older VW’s and there was at least one decorated van.

This VW sedan was partly gift wrapped.

Another sedan had its hood gift-wrapped.

Next weekend one car group will have a toy drive on Saturday while another has its first meet of the month.
