During this time of the year shops are having open houses and Christmas parties so, if you ride, it’s time to check out the discounts, see the latest gear and make arrangements for any work that needs to be done so you’re ready to go in the spring.
MotoSource is holding it’s annual Christmas Part this Saturday.
Jeff Cloutier was only able to race twice this season with NNKC. Here he is (30) leading a pack of Senior Clone racers in March. Sadly he passed away two weeks ago.
On Friday CMS (Carson Motor Sports) at the south end of Carson City is having their Customer Appreciation Night from 5 to 8 p.m.
Then on Friday MotoSource is hosting their annual Christmas Party from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Another chance to see what’s new and check out possible Christmas presents.
On a serious note there will be a celebration of life in memory of Jeff Cloutier, who passed away two weeks ago. He raced everything from motocross, stock cars at Rattlesnake Race to go karts with the Northern Nevada Kart Club.
The celebration will be Saturday, from 12:30 to 4 p.m. at the Lazy 5 Park. It’s located in Spanish Springs at 7100 Pyramid Highway.
Television is now reruns and it all begins on MAVTV at 5:30 p.m. when they continue with their review of the 2014 IHRA season.
On Saturday they will broadcast the Endurocross from Everette, Washington at 1 p.m. followed at 6 p.m. by Lucas Oil Drag Boat action from Chandler, Arizona.
On Sunday at noon there is a Lucas Oil Late Model event followed at 5 by p.m. by two episodes of the Dave Despain show.
Fox Sports 1 will have NASCAR Race Hub at 2 p.m. on Thursday.
