  • The biggest race in our area is the annual Virginia City Grand Prix that brings the excitement of motorcycle competition to the Comstock for two days of wild action.

Racing begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The Pros, Expert and Amateurs go on the first day with a timed four-hour event.

Four hours after the green flag sets the first line of riders off the checkered will wave. Of course depending on where the fastest are they might not be even close to the finish but their times will reflect their finishing position.

Sunday also begins at 10 a.m. as the Novice, Vets, Bombers and Vintage riders get their chance but the race is times at three hours. This year the senior vets, vintage and new Diva class will use a short course.
