MUSCLE MOTORS HOSTS RENO CARS & COFFEE

RENO, NV (Dec. 18) — Reno Cars & Coffee had its second meet of the month. This time the location was at Muscle Motors and everyone was asked to bring an unwrapped toy.

The function was to help Ashlee’s Toy Closet and the toys collected will help brighten Christmas for a disadvantaged youngster.

Roman Labzoy stands by the growing collection of toys brought to the meet. They will be given to Ashlee’s Toy Closet.

Roman Labzov does a multitude of tasks at the show and explained what they were doing at this meet.

“I do a little bit of everything from finance to advance marketing and other things . This is our fourth, we stopped one because of Covid but it’s been pretty solid every year.

As the collection of toys we growing by one of the doors he said what they were doing with them.

“For the last two year’s we’ve taken them to Ashley’s Toy Closet. She an awesome lady, a local, who started from 15 years old. We like to support her.

“This is a hot spot for the car community as we have all the toys so we like to try to gather the car community then spread the cheer. Because all the car stuff started for me personally when I was a kid playing with little car toys so if we can spread the love from the car community to the children in our area we’re all about it.”

There are always a mix of cars at one of these meets. Here it’s a Porsche, Corvette and Pontiac GTO.

As usual a Reno Cars & Coffee meet is both a mix of exotic as well as contrasts. One group had a Porsche, Corvette and Pontiac GTO.

While decades apart the Corvette and 1955 sedan are both Chevy products.

Not far away were two Chevy products parked together. The black Corvette is a front engine model and parked beside it was a 1955 Sedan.

The most striking contrast was between this Corvette and a vintage full sized Jeep truck.

The greatest contrast was a vintage full sized Jeep pick up parked by another front engine Corvette.

These are but a few of the cars Muscle Motors has for sale.

As for Muscle Motors, they had a row of several muscle cars parked in front of the building. There were also a few inside the building as well as more parked in the lot and all are for sale.

Reno Cars & Coffee head Lance Feitas was also there and created a great gallery of photos. If you want to see those please go to the group’s Face Book Page.

REPORTER’S NOTE: Since Christmas falls on the last weekend of the month there probably won’t be any Cars & Coffee group meeting on that day. So next week’s article will preview the coming racing season in our region. Right now most schedules have been posted.
