This week more racing in our area and even more on TV. Spring is in the air and racers are ready to go. Racing Preview this week has two events in our area plus a growing number of races on TV. However this on weekend the Internet isn’t busy until next week. The Western States Racing Association, one of the MRANN clubs, along with AMA District 36 combine for the Wild Horse Hare Scrambles. As spring approaches more and more racing gets going as racers take to the tracks. Racing preview for this weekend has another event in our area, another over the hill in California plus a bunch on TV and Internet. The second race of MRANN’s season is the Battle at Blue Wing Flat. The pits are located north of Toulon by a lake that’s probably not as dry as it was last year. Saturday begins at 9:30 A.M. with the Pee Wee racers followed by the Mini Bikes, V Women, Bombers and Team Races. The Big Bikes get their turn Sunday

President’s Birthday Weekend has the start of racing in our area plus TV has another major racing series beginning its season. This week we have the not so good, very good, wild and things in the “Rerun Zone.” Racing Preview for this week has some bad news for area motocross riders, at least for now. And it has three major events that can be watched either on TV or streamed over the Internet. Over the hill the recent storms have slammed the motocross tracks in Northern California. Weather has taken a toll on events but one classic “twice-around-the-clock” event is on tap for the weekend. Racing Preview has the altered schedule for several motocross tracks as well as what will be on TV and the Internet this weekend. First of all the next round of the Bishop MX Winter Series has been moved to Saturday, February 11 due to the weather and probably track conditions. This week while there isn’t anything in our region TV has several live events including an international one that is in Miami for the first time. Racing Preview this week goes over motocross dates that have been changed or canceled in our region. But there is some racing out of the area both live and on TV. Another week into the New Year and there is more racing to see. Racing Preview this week has a regional event plus a bunch more on TV. The New Year is progressing and racing is starting to heat up again. Locally Livfast Exit 28 might not be having practice sessions this weekend. Early in the week it appeared to be at lake in some sections so those wanting to go might check their Face Book page. There will be motocross racing in Northern California however. The MotoPro Graphics Triple Crown is running the third leg of the series this weekend.

While there are a bunch of reruns racing is finally getting going.   Racing preview for this week still has a bunch in the “Rerun Zone,” but things are beginning to change with the start of racing. Locally Livfast Exit 28 will be open for practice, weather permitting, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. While it’s still pretty slim this week, next week there will be more. Over in TV land there are plenty of reruns plus a very anticipated start to a new season. Thursday begins at 3 p.m. as Fox Sports 1 airs a Supercross

One more week in the “rerun zone,” but fear not racing begins this weekend. Racing Preview for this week is again thin but that’s going to change this weekend. With New Year comes racing as the thunder returns. Locally Livfast Exit 28 Motocross track will probably be having practice sessions from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. When this was written there was no confirmation so one needs to check first. For those racing in the Bishop Winter Series there are practice sessions on Saturday. Usually at 8 a.m. is when the gates open followed by track time.

Another slow week for race fans but fear not the action will begin shortly. Racing Preview this week is deep in the “Rerun Zone.” Most everyone is taking the Christmas weekend off but there’s still a bunch to see. The Racing Preview again it’s a bit slim for race fans although Northern California will have a very different event this weekend. There is also a live event on the Internet as well as a bundle of racing shows to watch this weekend. Locally Livfast Exit 28, depending on the weather, will be open for practice from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. There will be practice time at the Bishop, California MX track starting at 8 a.m. Saturday for anyone racing in that series. The big event in Northern California is Winter Jam at Sonoma Raceway, Sears
