RENO, NV (Oct. 16) — We’re getting our first blast of real fall weather this week. But the weekend will be mild and dry for racing as well as Show ‘N Shine events in our region NOTE: Several meets might be affected by the weather and/or temperature. CAR MEETS: • Thursday gets an early start, at 8 a.m., when the Iron Mafia meets at Kim’s Donut and Tea House. RENO, NV (Oct. 9) — It’s a full weekend of car meets, an off-road race and motocross not to mention racing on TV. Best part, it’s another weekend of good weather for our region. CAR MEETS: • Things started Wednesday when Nevada Bronco started a 4-day festival at Mills Park in Carson City. There are displays, vendors and even some cruises. RENO, NV (Oct. 2) — Well October is here and, even though its summer like, we’re really into fall. More racing to come for the motorcycle group but the oval track season is coming to a close. RENO, NV (Sept. 25) — Fall is here and regional short tracks are ending their seasons. Even car meets will start being reduced although there are still many events and motorcycle racing continues. CAR MEETS: • While not exactly car related the annual Street Vibrations Fall Rally begins Thursday and runs through the weekend. Locations are in Reno, Virginia City and the Harley Davidson dealership on Carson City. • Thursday at 8 a.m. when the Iron Mafia meets at Kim’s Donuts. RENO, NV (Sept.4) — Summer will officially end in a couple of weeks and the oval track season in our region is starting to wind down.
