RENO, NV (Feb. 7) — This week will have a national event visiting Reno as well as some car meets. Looks like this time the weather might cooperate for the outdoor meets. NATIONAL EVENT: • I’m going to start at bit different this week. The national AMA Arenacross series visits the Livestock Events Center for three days of racing this weekend.          -If one wants tickets Big Valley Honda has them so you don’t have to go through one of those Internet agencies or stop at the box office. RENO, NV (Jan. 31) — January is ending and that means more racing nationally and here when a major event visits Reno plus a local off-road series starts. February brings more national and regional racing as well. CAR MEETS: • The Iron Mafia again gets the weekend rolling at 7 a.m. Thursday. Location is Kim’s Donuts at 1328 U.S.395 North in Gardnerville. • Later on Thursday, Junkee has its monthly Volkswagen Night. CAR MEETS: • As usual the Iron Mafia gets the weekend rolling a 7 a.m. Thursday. RENO, NV (Jan.3) — Well here we are in the New Year and we’re finally leaving the Re-Run Zone. Racing has begun and this weekend two major series will get rolling as well as local car meets. RENO, NV (Dec. 27) — As we bid good-by to 2023 things are starting to happen in the world of Motorsports. Over the next three weeks two oval track events will see the green flag, a classic off-road event starts and the starting gate drops kicking off the start of Supercross.
