Racing Preview for this week highlights a new event as well as racing in our area, over in California and includes what’s on TV as well as being streamed over the Internet. While racing is a bit slim on the national scene, locally there is plenty including a major event. Racing Preview for this week lists a major event in our area plus other regional races. This weekend the TV schedule is reduced while there are other events being streamed on the Internet. Motosport preview for this week has a mix of several events, both locally and nationally. There is something for just about every type of motorsports and automotive fan. Biggest news is our area is the annual Hot August Nights. Those wishing for some two-wheeled throttle time can take advantage of the practice sessions, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Livfast Exit 28 motocross track. Friday begins at Top Gun Raceway, located south of Fallon, with $5 Friday, from 6 p.m. until midnight, where people can test and tune their cars on the dragstrip. Then on Saturday, starting at 9:30 a.m. the facility has ET round 11, Junior Dragsters round 9 and Street Legal drags.
