SCUDDER’S PERFORMANCE CELEBRATES #30 BLACK WIDOW BUG LANDS IN SPARKS SPARKS (April 22) — Today Sparks got a new landmark and it is now sitting on the roof of Scudder’s Performance. But for many this “Black Widow Beatle,” sat on the roof of an abandoned Reno Fire Station them seemly disappeared. MILLER TOPS IMCA AT 95A FERNLEY (April 11) – The speedway here hosted its second points race of the season. TIEARNEY SWEEPS PROS AT MOTOCROSS FERNLEY (April 12) – The spring motocross series ended here Sunday. And it was the first event put on by the newly reformed Old Timers chapter. Both president Jeff McCollum and Eric McElroy, with assistance from the Over the Hill Gang set the stage for a day of hard racing at the Sandbox, or the Fernley Lion’s Motocross Track. HOT RACING ON A COOL NIGHT AT RATTLESNAKE 2015 OPENING EVENT FALLON (April 4) – In what’s becoming a tradition in area oval track racing, Rattlesnake Raceway opened its 2015 season Saturday of Easter weekend. 4TH ANNUAL SANDBOX GRAND PRIX

Fernley (March 29) — Four years ago MRANN and the local OTHG combined forces for the initial Sandbox Grand Prix. It’s a day full of motocross action on an 2.5 mile long course that ends with a team race. There are no points, money only bragging rights and a trophy. And its become one of the most anticipated fun events of the year. And once again the venue was the Sandbox or the Fernley Lion’s Motocross Track. Fernley (March 28) – The speedway here opened its season with an afternoon race this weekend. While some classes were down on cars the IMCA group fielded 22 cars for this heat races and main events. “The race was great even though the track was dusty.
