RENO, NV (Aug. 17) — A week after Hot August Nights departs and there are car meets all over the place. They range from Minden to Fallon as well as Reno and Sparks. • Two groups got Sunday rolling. Over by the Human Bean Coffee Stand, on the corner of Longley and South McCarran, Reno Jeeps & Coffee held its second meet of the month.  Not far away, by the Human Bean Coffee Stand at the corner of Keitzke and Moana Lanes, there was another meet. This is where Reno Cars & Coffee met. As usual there were some contrasts.

RENO, NV (Aug. 10) — This past week Hot August Nights took over the Reno/Sparks area. Today there was a huge parade and trophies were handed out. SPARKS, NV (July 27) — Sparks Cars & Coffee had its second meet of the month. Location as usual was near the Starbucks off of Disc Drive. Once again variety is part of any show like this One interesting comparison was a T-Bucket parked next to an import. One of the exotic cars came with a racing history. RENO, NV (July 20) — This was a busy weekend for car, cruise and racing fans. There were all kinds of events going on in our area.   • One highlight on Saturday was the Cars & Cream meet at Handels. They make homemade ice cream and this meet may have draw the largest turnout of all. There were all types of cars including a very small one used by the son of the white car’s owner. RENO, NV (JULY 13) — Despite the record setting heat it was a busy day here in Reno. There were two car meets plus a function that brought bike clubs together for a charity event aimed at helping disadvantaged kids that needed school supplies. • Things got rolling around 10 a.m. when Sparks Cars & Coffee met at the Starbucks off Disc Drive.  In addition to groups of Corvettes one had its top in the halfway position .
