    Memorial Day weekend is the biggest racing weekend of the year and a local track had two nights of action. FALLON (May 28) – Rattlesnake Raceway hosted a two-day show this Memorial Day weekend.   • RATTLESNAKE – FIREWORKS ON DIRT

    Rattlesnake Raceway had to change its 4th of July plans due to Mother Nature. FALLON (July 5) – Rattlesnake Raceway had a first this season, a weather delayed race. Mother Nature threw a wrench into the July 4th race and fireworks that was scheduled. Heavy rains Saturday caused the track, after checking with the drivers, to postpone the races until Sunday. But the fireworks were set off later in the evening. Sunday dawned bright, clear and it was going to be hot when everyone arrived.     HOT RACING ON A COOL NIGHT AT RATTLESNAKE 2015 OPENING EVENT   FALLON (April 4) – In what’s becoming a tradition in area oval track racing, Rattlesnake Raceway opened its 2015 season Saturday of Easter weekend. Cool weather with some wind kept the air cool but the racing was hot on the track. “I was just being patient, started 10th but knew I had a long way to go.   • DIRT TRACK CHAMPIONSHIPS

    FALLON (Oct. 4/5) — Rattlesnake Raceway ended its season with the annual Dirt Track Championships. However this year there was an unforeseen twist; rain canceled the scheduled date so the event was moved to the next weekend.   Sadly many cars that planned to be there weren’t.     FALLON (Sept. 19) — This weekend marked the end of a long year for those that compete at Rattlesnake Raceway.
