    RENO, NV (Dec. 15) – This Sunday Muscle Motors teamed up with Reno Cars & Coffee. Their goal was collecting toys for the Salvation Army as well as showing off cars.     RENO, NV (Dec. 8) – The 47th RPM Promoters Workshops visited Reno this past week. They bring the short track industry to its long time home, the Eldorado Casino. Usually casino executive Rick Murdock welcomes the attendees but, since he was busy, Executive Director of Sales Don Goodman was in his place.     RENO TOY RUN HELPS AREA CHARITIES RENO, NV (Dec. 8) – For the 39th year the annual Reno Toy Run hosted by the Northern Nevada Confederation of Clubs was held Sunday.     RENO, NV (DEC. 1) – Despite the snow and rain two car clubs joined forces to help disadvantaged youngsters through the Children’s Cabinet. The clubs were Reno Cars and Coffee as well as the Old Slammers Club of Reno. The day started when Reno Cars and Coffee has its usual first weekend of the month meet at the Keitzke Starbucks.   • SEASON IN REVIEW: MORE OVAL TRACKS

    RENO, NV (Nov 25) ­— As the 2019 season fades in the rear view mirror it’s time to do a season review for oval tracks. This time I’ll focus on two tracks in Northeastern California plus two Nevada tracks, Lovelock Speedway and 95A Speedway. • American Valley Speedway is literally in the woods next to the Plumas/Sierra County Fairgrounds.   • SEASON ENDING BBMX RACE

    FERNLEY, NV (Nov. 10) – The final race for our region was held at the Fernley-Wadsworth Lion’s Motocross Track this weekend. Hosting the event was the Reno Chapter of the Over The Hill Gang and it marked the end of the BBMX season. The turnout was pretty good and a couple of the classes either had virtually or full gates in face one class had 31 riders at the gate. Helping the show was great racing weather.
