RENO, NV (Nov. 9) — Great weather set the stage for car meets this weekend. In our area there were a pair, one each day. • Saturday began when the Vintage Euro Cars & Coffee met at the Summit Mall. This time they were toward the south end by the new Starbucks. One of the cars on display was a De Tomaso Pantera. Painted bright red it certainly got its share of attention. RENO, NV (Nov. 2) — Wonderful weather greeted the start of November.  Mother Nature provided a great stage for two car meets and the annual Nevada Day Parade. • Sunday morning, stating at 10 a.m. is when Reno Jeeps and Coffee had their monthly meet. RENO, NV (Oct. 26) – Start of Halloween Week so there were several Trunk or Treat meets as well as a meet for Sparks Cars & Coffee. Saturday’s winds didn’t keep many away from the Trunk or Treat events. • Friday afternoon the 775-Offroad and Recovery had a Trunk or Treat sponsored by Powertrain Industries on Longley Lane.  Several cars and trucks were decorated and youngsters could get candy from each of them. RENO, NV (Oct. 5) — This weekend is when the National Automobile Museum chose the winner for their first ever Museum Cup.  Rich Crombie, who directed the series said, “This is actually the first year of the 2025 Museum Cup Series, Phil MacDougle is the executive director. He wanted to do something that would engage the local car clubs. “So every month starting in May he invited a different car club to come down and display their cars at the museum. CAR MEETS: • Thursday morning is when Kim’s Kruizers get the weekend rolling.
