RENO,  NV (Feb.22)  – Today Sparks Cars & Coffee had its second meet of the month. In the afternoon Nevada Car Coalition had its second Calendar Planning Meeting. • The Sparks Cars & Coffee meet was by the Starbucks located on Disc Drive. While the turnout was on the light side there were still a wide variety of cars to see. One example of variety was where a Cadillac convertible was parked next to a Lamborghini. RENO, NV (Feb. 8) — Two big car meets highlighted the weekend. It was the first time for one while the other the other happens twice a month. • Saturday is when Need2Speed had the “Parking Lot Take Over,” at the Northtowne shopping  area that is located where 580 and North McCarran meet. RENO, NV (Feb. 4) — Well we’re in February and racing our region has started. There are also several car meets this weekend to see before the weather changes next week. CAR MEETS: • Once again Thursday starts around 8 a.m. when Kim’s Kruisers meet at Kim’s Donuts and Tea House. Location is 1328 U.S. 395 North in Gardnerville.  • This weekend Carson Cars and Coffee has a double header. Friday’s meet starts at 6:30 p.m., as does Saturday’s meet. RENO, NV (Feb. 1): Well here we are starting a new month and the day before Ground Hog Day. Wonder if he’ll see his shadow.  At home there were two meets, one for Jeeps and the other for cars. • Sunday started when Reno Jeeps and Coffee meet at the Human Bean Coffee stand located at the corner of Longley Lane and South McCarran.  Several Jeeps were on hand and more arrived later. SPARKS, NV (Jan. 25) — Despite the cold morning one of the largest turnouts happened today. Some was due to the recruiting effort by Ed Hughes who helped bring in a bunch of right hand drive cars. RENO, NV (Jan. 18) — Reno Cars & Coffee held its second meet of the month the Sunday. Good weather highlighted a strong turn out of cars and some trucks.  Not to mention a lot of people checking out the cars. There were a pair of exotics that drew their share of attention. SPARKS, NV (Dec. 28) — The year ended with Sparks Cars & Coffee meeting Sunday. Although cool temps keep the turnout low, there was still a pretty good variety. Among the group was a red and a black Corvette. Each was from a different generation. As expected there was a line of imports. One of them had its hood raised so people could see the motor. RENO, NV (Oct. 26) – Start of Halloween Week so there were several Trunk or Treat meets as well as a meet for Sparks Cars & Coffee. RENO, NV (Oct. 5) — This weekend is when the National Automobile Museum chose the winner for their first ever Museum Cup.  Rich Crombie, who directed the series said, “This is actually the first year of the 2025 Museum Cup Series, Phil MacDougle is the executive director.
