SPARKS , NV (Nov. 23) — As we head into Thanksgiving week Sparks Cars & Coffee staged its second meet of the month. Mother Nature helped by supplying clear, mild weather. As usual there were different cars as well as a row of imports that included a gray Honda CRX. Not far away was a beautiful 1965 Chevy II that was all shined up and looking great. RENO, NV (Oct. 26) – Start of Halloween Week so there were several Trunk or Treat meets as well as a meet for Sparks Cars & Coffee. Saturday’s winds didn’t keep many away from the Trunk or Treat events. • Friday afternoon the 775-Offroad and Recovery had a Trunk or Treat sponsored by Powertrain Industries on Longley Lane.  Several cars and trucks were decorated and youngsters could get candy from each of them. RENO, NV (Oct. 5) — This weekend is when the National Automobile Museum chose the winner for their first ever Museum Cup.  Rich Crombie, who directed the series said, “This is actually the first year of the 2025 Museum Cup Series, Phil MacDougle is the executive director. RENO, NV (Sept. 21) — This weekend car groups celebrated the end of summer with a weekend full of events.  Great weather set the stage for all of them. • Saturday began with the Impala Car Club hosting the 5th Annual Show to help Forever 14. It’s a busy time for race and car fans. • Saturday got started with the Cars and Stripes car, truck and motorcycle show. It all happened at the parking lot in front of the Sportsman’s Warehouse. There was a huge variety of cars and trucks on display.  Several rows in the parking lot were full of all types of vehicles. One unusual car was an early post war BMW. RENO, NV (Aug. 17) — A week after Hot August Nights departs and there are car meets all over the place. They range from Minden to Fallon as well as Reno and Sparks. • Two groups got Sunday rolling. RENO, NV (Aug. 10) — This past week Hot August Nights took over the Reno/Sparks area. Today there was a huge parade and trophies were handed out. During this time there were also two very different events happening on Sunday. One of them was the month’s first Sparks Cars & Coffee meet. SPARKS, NV (July 27) — Sparks Cars & Coffee had its second meet of the month. Location as usual was near the Starbucks off of Disc Drive. Once again variety is part of any show like this One interesting comparison was a T-Bucket parked next to an import. One of the exotic cars came with a racing history.
