A storm slated to hit our area Friday and Saturday has canceled at least one event and maybe more so just be aware of that. If all goes well Fernley 95A Speedway will begin its 2018 season Saturday. RENO (March 21) – Weather is the big story for this week in the Racing Preview. It is affecting several tracks in California and at least one event in this region. The Racing Preview also has what’s going on nationally as well as internationally. This weekend gets off to a rousing start up in Virginia City at 4 p.m. as the annual Pre-Race Drawing Party gets this year’s Virginia City Grand Prix going.
