RENO, NV (June 9) – Racing preview this week highlights more car meets and cruises plus much racing. In fact Fallon has two big events, Susanville has another and to the south Baja will echo to the song of racing.   CAR MEETS/CRUISES: • On Thursday, from 4 until 7 p.m., the National Auto Museum is hosting a Hot August Nights Show and Shine. It’s a free event to show case some great cars.     • This week’s Thursday Cruise in Carson City runs from 5 to 7:30 p.m. and the meeting place is Battle Born Harley Davidson.  

RENO, NV (June 2) – With summer upon us Racing Preview is like a buffet table overloaded with treats. Locally things have exploded with meets and cruises plus there is plenty on TV to see.   CAR MEETS:   • This Thursday there is a new cruise in as the south Steak ‘N Shake starts at 4 p.m. with music and cars of all types are welcome. The location is at 470 South Meadows Parkway.   • Down in Carson City a series of Thursday night cruises begins this week. All vehicles are welcome, things go from 5 until 7:30

RENO, NV (May26) – This will be an interesting week, not that many cruises but three races in our area. In addition two of the biggest racing events are happening in the mid-west and south-east.   CAR MEETS/CRUISES: • Things get rolling starting at 4 p.m. when Summit Racing Equipment, located at 960 East Glendale in Sparks has another Friday cruise in.   • After that there will be another Fernley Main Street Cruise that runs from 6 until 9 p.m. The Wigwam is the meeting place.   Even if you don’t want to cruise bring a chair and you

RENO, NV (May 19): As we head toward the biggest racing weekend of the year things are ramping up nationally and in this region. The only question for us is the incoming weather that will hit then be gone by Saturday.   CAR MEETS & CRUISES: • Summit Racing Equipment, located at 950 E. Glendale Ave. in Sparks will host another Friday cruise in. Things get going around 4 p.m. and hopefully the weather will cooperate   • There may or may not be Fernley Main Street Cruise on Friday. They haven’t let me know which weekends it will happen.

RENO, NV (May 5) – This week’s Racing Preview has a bunch of car meets, cruises and one that is special for the ladies. While the racing is slim there is one in our region plus motocross practice sessions.   CAR MEETS & CRUISES: •  On Friday Summit Racing at 960 East Glendale in Sparks is bringing back the Cruise Nights. Last year things got going at 5 p.m. with many cars cruising in and put on display.   • Fernley/Fallon Cars & Coffee, starting at 6 p.m. will have a meet at the Fernley 76th station on Main Street.
