    FERNLEY, NV (Aug. 15) – After a two-month lay off to refurbish seating in the grandstands the oval at 95 Motor Sports Complex was in action again. In addition to the regular classes a new one the Bootlegger was added, which is a push to pass division that runs on a soaked track.     SUSANVILLE, CA (Aug.8) – The I-80 Challenge series along with the Dwarf Cars visited Diamond Mountain Speedway this weekend. The result was two days of racing on this dirt bullring. Saturday’s IMCA A main winner almost didn’t come to the event.     RENO, NV (8-3-2020) – This weekend Rattlesnake Raceway held the current round of the I-80 Challenge. In addition there are other news worthy things going on in the world of motor sports. Friday night was the first round of the two-day show and on Saturday the next to last race were the Sprint Cars. On the green everyone took off with Jeff Macedo on point.     STEAD, NV (July 26) – Desert Park Raceway echoed with the sound of go kart racing this Sunday. It was the second round of the Northern Nevada Kart Club’s shortened season with plenty of drivers ready to go. During the day five drivers would sweep their classes while at the bottom of the age group a 5-year-old was enjoying his first race.     FALLON, NV (JULY 12) – Top Gun Dragstrip held two days of drag racing this weekend. The event was punctuated by heat, both off and on the track. One of the youngest drivers did some thing no one else matched that weekend. In fact it was a great day for a pair of Junior Dragster drivers. There were six Junior Dragster racers on hand Sunday.     SUSANVILLE, CA (July 4) – Celebrating Independence Day the Diamond Mountain Speedway hosted two-days of racing. Saturday’s action ended with a huge fireworks show above the track. After climbing to the top of his car as he celebrated his A Mod victory, winner NickTrenchor, from Klamath Falls, Oregon climbed down into a flurry of hugs and congratulations from family and other drivers.
