RENO, NV (Oct 21) — Although things are winding down as winter approaches there are still car meets, a major race in our area  plus some drifting as well as races on TV and the Internet.  CAR MEETS: • Locally Sparks Cars & Coffee will have a meet on Sunday by Buffalo Wild Wings. Start time is 10 a.m. and of course that will depend on the weather.  • To the south Carson Malls Cars & Donuts is having its final event of 2021 Sunday. Roll in time is 9:45 a.m. and the first 24 people get a free donut.

 RENO, NV (Oct.13) — As racing winds down it’s a bit slim this weekend but there are car meets, a new motocross track opening and still a bunch on TV to watch. Yes fall is here the championships are still to be decided.  CAR MEETS:  • Motor Shows  @ Tahoe 2021 gets the weekend rolling with the  three-day South Tahoe “Classic” and Old Car Giveaway. RENO, NV (Oct. 6) — Car meets, a local clean up as well as a lot of area races highlight this weekend not to mention what’s on TV and the Internet. The race fan’s buffet table is overloaded this time around. CAR MEETS: • Things get rolling Friday at 6 p.m. with a meet at the 76 station in downtown Fernley. Who knows might end up as a cruise as well. • Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until noon Fallon Cars & Coffee has its first meet of the month. Location is the Telegraph Coffee and Tap located at1805 W. RENO, NV (Sept. 29) — First weekend of fall and things are bit slow as we move away from summer. The Indy Car series is over, both NASCAR and NHRA are heading toward the championship rounds of their respective seasons. In our region the final oval track races will happen this month but for the two-wheel crowd more races are on tap. They will carry racing into early November. CAR MEETS: • The weekend gets started Friday at 6 p.m. when the National Automobile Museum has “Art, Autos and Wine.” This is a benefit for the museum and should be

RENO, NV (Sept. 22) — Autumn has begun and that means local racing is winding down, except for motorcycles, and professional series are heading toward their championships. Also car meets and cruises are mostly on the weekends now. CAR & MOTORCYCLE MEETS: • Biggest event of the weekend is Street Vibrations – Fall Rally, it turns this area into Sturgis West. This year it’s in the art section of 4th street west of downtown as well as in Carson City and Virginia City. Things get going Thursday and go into late afternoon on Sunday. RENO, NV (Sept. 15) — As we head toward the end of summer racing is still going strong. Not only in this region but across the country with some overseas.
