RENO, NV (March 4) – This week’s Racing Preview is a mixed bag with a special announcement. There should be wonderful weather this week to enjoy the outside things. SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS: • For you drag racing types this is the weekend to get your chassis certificated. NHRA inspector Launie Porteous will be at Summit Racing, located at 960 East Glendale Avenue in Sparks, from 9 until 1 p.m. • The other announcement is that we switch to Daylight Saving Time in the wee hours of Sunday. Be sure to set your clocks one hour ahead or you might be late

RENO, NV (Feb. 26) – Racing Preview for this week is a bit light in our area but there will be plenty to watch on TV. Getting closer to spring when more and more racing happens. CAR MEETS: • Reno Cars and Coffee gets March rolling with another meet, starting at 10 a.m. Sunday by the Keitzke Starbucks. Even though the weather might be iffy there should be some of the hard core bringing their cars to display. MOTOCROSS AND OFF ROAD: • VORRA is having a test and tune practice day, with a free BBQ as well, this Sunday

RENO, NV (Feb. 19) – Racing Preview for this week has a very special local event, a car meet and a variety of things to be seen on TV and the Internet. Racing is still ramping up as we head into spring. CAR MEETS:• Carson Cars & Coffee has its monthly meet starting at 10 a.m. Sunday. The location is at the Dutch Brothers Coffee at the south end of town. SPECIAL EVENT: • Saturday is Keep Trails Rad Day as the Reno Area Dirt Riders will be engaged in their first trail clean up on Peavine. Things get rolling

RENO, NV (Feb. 12) – Well this week racing returns to our region so the Racing Preview is full of events, here and around the world. It might be winter still but spring is only a few weeks away. CAR MEETS: • Sunday, starting at 10 a.m. Reno Cars and Coffee will host its next meet at Classic Rock Coffee close to the intersection of MaeAnne and McCarran. RENO, NV (JAN. 5) – Racing is back and this week’s Racing Preview has what is going on both in our area as well as across the country. Finally we’re leaving the Re-Run Zone. RENO, NV (Jan. 29) — Racing Preview for this Super Bowl weekend is pretty slim although there are a couple of live events to watch. Fear not race fans, things heat up starting next week. ANNOUNCEMENTS: • For you wanting to race at this year’s Virginia City Grand Prix remember entries can’t be postmarked until Saturday February 1st. The main Post Office here in Reno can do that but I think the Post Office in Virginia City is closed Saturday. • The workshop at Caliber Collision this Saturday had to be canceled since not enough people had signed up. RENO, NV (Jan. 22) – This week’s Racing Preview has great news for the motocross crowd. Yes we are emerging from the Re-Run Zone and into the daylight of racing seasons beginning. SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:  • This weekend 95 Motor Sports Complex, the former 95A Speedway, is opening it’s new motocross track they’ve been working on for the past few months. For both Saturday and Sunday riding will be from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. with registration beginning at 7 a.m. each day. Practice will be divided up based on rider turn out and there should be a food truck out
