RENO, NV (Aug. 2 6) – As we head toward the end of August there are plenty of car meets, cruises plus racing in our region for any fan. In addition there is more than enough racing on TV and the Internet. CAR MEETS & CRUISES: • The weekend gets rolling on Friday from 7 until 9 p.m. with the Fernley Quarantine Main Street Cruise. RENO, NV (Aug. 19) – Racing Preview for this weekend has car meets, cruising, two very different races in our region as well as a bunch on TV to watch. Summer is still with us and motorsport fans have a bunch on their plates. CAR MEETS/CRUISES: • Things get rolling from 7 until 9 p.m. as the Fernley Quarantine Main Street Cruise is on Friday. Meeting place is at the Wigwam and it’s a nice way to end the week. • Sunday, at the Dutch Brothers Coffee at the end of town, Carson Cars & Coffee will have it’s monthly

RENO, NV (Aug. 12) – Racing Preview for this weekend is another varied menu. It has everything from car meets to international racing, something for about any race or car fan. CAR MEETS/CRUISES: •  Friday gets the weekend rolling with the Fernley Quarantine Main Street Cruise. It runs from 7 until 9 p.m. and the meeting place is the Wigwam. • Another car show Friday is the 2020 Main Street Event in Minden. It begins at 4 p.m. at the Minden Park and the funds benefit the 20-30 Club. • On Saturday the Summit Church, located at 7075 Pyramid Highway

In addition there is racing in our region, over in California as well as national and international events. CAR MEETS/CRUISES: • The weekend gets off to an early start Thursday. The Atlantis Casino begins three days of Hot August Cruise Nights hosted by the Wicked Wayz Car Club. Thursday and Friday nights things start at 5 p.m. while it’s a 4 p.m. start on Saturday. • Down at the Bully’s in Carson City is the second of the three

As usual things get rolling Friday evening with the weekly Fernley Quarantine Main Street Cruise. The time is from 7 until 9 p.m. and it goes from the stoplight east, circles the round about then returns. • Saturday is a marathon car show

CAR MEETS/CRUISES: • As usual the weekend starts on Friday with the Fernley Quarantine Main Street Cruise. The event runs from 7 until 9 p.m. with the Wigwam as the meet up place.
