RENO, NV (June 3) – Racing Preview for this week has plenty for any race fan both in our area as well as nationally. Summer is here and the speed merchants are ready. BIG NEWS:  • Unfortunately this year’s Hot August Nights has been cancelled. One reason of course is the current virus situation but apparently there are others as well. RENO, NV (May 27) – This week’s Racing Preview brings good news, it’s time to celebrate as racing has returned to our region and nationally as well. This in addition to car meets/cruises and a birthday parade slated for this weekend. CAR MEETS: •  On Saturday Reno Carss & Coffee gets things rolling with a Lake Tahoe cruise. RENO, NV (May 13) – This Racing Preview has some good news for a change. Yes racing is back although in a limited form but I’m seeing light at the end of the tunnel. CAR MEETS & CRUISES: • The weekend gets off to a rolling start Friday from 7 until 9 p.m. That’s when the weekly cruises up and down the main street of Fernley begin hosted by Reno Sparks Cars & Pizza. • Saturday is Armed Forces Day and Fallon had a celebration planned. RENO, NV (April 29) — This weekend’s Racing Preview has some new developments, a great cruise as well as other racing news and programs to watch. The month of May just might bring us live racing once again. CAR MEETS:  • Reno Cars & Coffee will have it’s first of the month meet at the Keitzke Starbucks. As usual the meet time is 10 a.m. and people are asked to either stay in their cars or remember social distancing. Then at 10:20 everyone will leave for a long cruise that takes them south over Kingsbury Pass, north along Lake Tahoe

CAR MEETS, CRUISES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS: • Sunday morning the Shasta Outlaws 775 has a combination meet and cruise. Location is the 76 Station in Fernley and the meet goes from 10:00 to 11:10 a.m. when the cruise leaves. RENO, NV (April 15) – Once again racing is in hiatus but there are still things to watch and the motocross crowd can get in practice sessions. CAR MEETS: + This week’s Reno Cars & Coffee meet has been canceled. Hopefully things will be opening up so the next time, on May 3rd, the meet can be held again. + There is a cruise planned for Sunday at the Spring Thaw Rally is going to be held.
