RENO, NV (Aug. 27) — As we head into Labor Day weekend Racing Preview is full of cruise events plus racing. Things are still hot on the tracks as summer winds down. SHOW N’ SHINES/CRUISES: • Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. Summit Racing at 960 East Glendale in Sparks is having what maybe the final Cruise In for this summer. There will be a D.J., usually food trucks and it’s a great way to unwind from the week. Down in Carson City the Carson Mall is having it’s Last Friday Cruise Night. It runs from 5 until a bit

RENO, NV (Aug 21) – As summer winds down Racing Preview for this weekend has two major events in out region as well as other car or racing related events. SHOW N’ SHINES: • On Friday, from 6 until 8 p.m., there is another Cruise In at Summit Racing in Sparks. A DJ supplies the music and usually there is at least one food truck, plus one that has ice cream on hand. It’s a great way to wind down from the workweek and be with fellow car people. • There are two events on Saturday, one local and the

It will be hot and sometimes dusty racing during the dog days of summer. CRUISES/SHOW N’ SHINES: • FRIDAY:    + Summit Racing, from 6 until 8 p.m. has another Cruise In. There cars to see and a D.J. is supplying the music and there is at least a ice cream and pizza truck on hand. The location is at 960 E. Not to be left out there is also plenty of racing both live, on TV and streaming on the Internet to enjoy. RENO, NV (July 31) – Racing Preview this week is full of meets, cruises and racing as we head into Hot August Nights. We’re also blessed with wonderful summer weather. SHOW ‘N SHINES & CRUISES:  • Thursday night cruises in Carson City have ended and at least for a week so have the Friday Cruise In at Summit Racing. Have to see if they’ll start up again in a couple of weeks. • Virginia City, on Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. is where this year’s Hot August Nights gets rolling. RENO, NV (JULY 17) – Racing Preview for this week has a bunch of Show ‘N Shines, Cruises as well as racing. There is just about anything a car or race fan could want. SHOW ‘N SHINE/CRUISES: • This week’s Thursday night cruise in Carson City goes from 5 until 7 p.m. and starts at Hooten Tire located 2580 North Carson Street. • The Carson Mall’s cruise will be this Friday with registration beginning at 5 p.m., trophies at 7:30 and there is food, music and raffles. They ask you to bring non-perishable food to benefit F.I.S.H., a local charity.
