RENO, NV (Feb. 20) – Racing Preview for this week highlights two meets, a cruise, motocross action over the hill and what’s on TV. We’re finally emerging from winter’s Rerun Zone as racing ramps up for the season ahead. MEETS & CRUISES: The Northern Nevada Camaro Club will meet at Summit Racing, 960 East Glendale in Sparks on Saturday. RENO, NV (Feb. 18) – Season Preview this time concerns 4-wheeled off-road scene here in Northern Nevada. With two exceptions all the events are for trucks, buggies and UTVs and most happen east of Sparks at the Wild West Motorsports Park The first exception is the May 4th IRC Endurofest as this event is for motorcycles. CAR MEETS/CRUISES:   Since it’s the third weekend of the month Reno Cars & Coffee hosts its meet at the Robb Drive Starbucks. FERNLEY, NV (Jan. 26) – The Nevada Pro Stock Association held a general meeting at the Silverado Casino here. The subject was preparations for the upcoming season as well as the connection with the Tri-State Pro Stock Challenge. President Travis Petersen got the meeting started and soon mentioned the association has a new website. He added they’re working with the Tri-State Pro Stock Challenge so there will be more events for the drivers to compete in. He also mentioned that at this time it appears there’s not going to be pro stock race at American Valley Speedway in Quincy. He

CAR MEETS: As usual Sparks Cars and Coffee are having the second-weekend-of-the-month meet on Sunday. Winter hours are from 10 a.m. until noon and the location is at the Sparks Dunkin’ Donuts, 425 Sparks Blvd., by the Target store.
