FALLON, NV (OCT.6): Rattlesnake Raceway hosted the annual Dirt Track Championships and the Nevada Pro Stock Association ended its season Saturday. FERNLEY, NV (Aug. 11) – Fernley 95A Speedway not only hosted the Nevada Pro Stock Association but dedicated the night’s racing to the family of Chris Juhl, who was badly burned in a pit accident at Fallon on July 4th. Track owner Dan Simpson informed everyone at the driver’s meeting that all proceeds from the night would be donated to the family to help with their medical expenses. The racing ends the fair weekend, which is just before the local schools begin their new year. LOVELOCK, NV (July 28) – This year’s Frontier Day races at the Lovelock Speedway had an extra attraction, the Al Miller Memorial Challenge for Pro Stocks. A couple of months ago Al Miller passed away so his sons Robert and Randy decided to honor their father with a special race for the Nevada Pro Stock Association. LOVELOCK, NV (June 30) – The Lovelock Speedway bid June good-by with another race. Although the car count could have been better there was some good racing on this Nevada bullring. FALLON, NV (June 16) – Nice late spring night set the stage for a night of racing at Rattlesnake Raceway. After a good start the IMCA modified was a very different race than was expected. More like the wheels fell off the wagon actually. After the dust settled winner Melissa Natenstedt said, “That was a lot of yellows, two reds and all those yellows. Too many yellows that’s for sure and that’s never good when you’re leading. I’m just glad I’m feeling comfortable in my car again and its been a couple of years since I’ve felt that comfortable.” Then
