RENO, NV (Sept. 14) — As summer winds down tracks are starting to end their seasons yet there is still more racing to come. There are car shows and cruise-ins to enjoy as well as events on TV.  CAR MEETS: • Down at the Topaz Lodge and Casino, south of Gardnerville, there is the 12th annual Cruz ‘N Shine, a Show & Shine car show. RENO, NV (Sept. 7) — Another busy weekend for car, cruise and racing fans. Now that Labor Day is area tracks and professional series are getting ready to bring the curtain down on their seasons but there still is more to go.  CAR MEETS & CRUISES: • Saturday, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. is the 2nd Annual Genoa Customs & Classics Car Show in the downtown area.
