RENO, NV (MAY 17) — Going to be a very warm weekend, one full of car meets, a cruise to Lake Tahoe as well as two oval tracks in action and a motocross. Not to be outdone, there are several events on TV as well as a major cancellation. CAR MEETS: • The biggest meet in this area is Hot August Nights Spring Fever Revival. RENO, NV (May 3) — It appears spring has really arrived, knock on wood. There are a bunch of events this weekend, both in our region as well as bunch on TV. CAR MEETS: • 775 Offroad and Recovery is having a 4X4 Show N’ Shine at Fuji Park in Carson City on Saturday. Show opens at 10 a.m. and it’s a family event with spectators getting in for free. • Reno Cars & Coffee gets the month started with a meet by the Keitzke Starbucks. Things get going around 10 a.m. Sunday and there is usually a pretty good

RENO, NV (April 26) — Another spring weekend ahead with a major event in this region plus one more oval track opening it season. There is also a bunch of racing on TV and the Internet. CAR MEETS: • Nevada Jeep Club is teaming up with Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful to help clean up a couple of areas this Saturday. They need folks with 4X4 vehicles and it’s an 8 a.m. start time. RENO, NV (April 19) — Well it appears spring might be here as this weekend we’ll warm up. Great time for car meets, cruises, testing and oval track racing CAR MEETS: • On Sunday the USO Northern Nevada Car Club gets the weekend rolling with a show and shine to benefit the Agape Church School. Location is 903 Taylor Place in Fallon. Meet runs from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. • Sunday is when the Kernley Klazzic Kruizers have a cruise from Fernley to the Sonic Burger place in Fallon. RENO, NV (April 12) — Well it seems as though spring might be here, hope so anyway. Even if it isn’t, we have a weekend full of racing and things ahead of us. CAR MEETS: • Saturday gets rolling at 9 a.m. when Fallon Cars N’ Coffee has a meet. Location is the Alley Bar at 1555 South Taylor Street. • Sunday, starting at 10 a.m. by the Human Bean Coffee Stand, located by Moana and Keitzke Lanes there is another meet. RENO, NV (April 5) — Well here it is, Easter weekend and there is plenty of racing going.  We have races in our region as well as some on TV. CAR MEETS: • Only one on tap for this weekend as, starting at 10 a.m. Sparks Cars & Coffee is meeting close to the Starbucks off Disc Drive. Should be great weather so hope they get a good car count. • On Saturday there is the 2nd Annual Brett G Palmer Freedom Run. It’s an off-road poker run and is sponsored by two groups, should be fun for those that
