RENO, NV (Dec. 13) – The end of the year is coming fast so we’re still in the Re-Run Zone for the next couple of weeks. Until then there are car events and motocross practice sessions to attend as well as things on the Internet. CAR MEETS: • The weekend gets rolling at 7::30 a.m. Thursday when the Iron Mafia has its weekly meet. RENO, NV (Dec.6) — While TV is in the Re-Run zone there is still racing going on not to mention car, jeep and truck meets in our area. CAR MEETS: • As usual the Iron Mafia will host its Thursday meeting at Kim’s Donuts. Starting time is 7 a.m. and location is at 1328 U.S. 395 North in Gardnerville. • On Saturday there is Toys for Tats that starts at noon and goes as long as it takes. RENO, NV (Nov. 29)— Even though TV is in the Re-Run Zone there are Toy Runs this weekend, a motocross and racing to the south. CAR MEETS: • The Iron Mafia gets the weekend at 7 a.m. Thursday with its weekly car meet. RENO, NV (Nov. 22) — Well here we are, Thanksgiving weekend. While most racing is taking a holiday there is still some going on. CAR MEETS: • The Iron Mafia should have its usual Thursday morning meet, starts at 7 a.m. and could be a great way to start Thanksgiving. Location is Kim’s Donuts at 1328 US 395 North in Gardnerville. • Sunday at 10 a.m. Sparks Cars & Coffee has its second meet of the month. Location is by the Starbucks off Disc Driver in Sparks. RENO, NV (Nov. 15) — We’re heading into the annual slowdown and entry into the Re-Run Zone. However there is still racing going on, including a major event in Reno, as well as over the hill and in Baja. CAR MEETS: • Once again the Iron Mafia will start the weekend at 7 a.m. on Thursday. Meeting place is Kim’s Donuts at 1328 U.S. 395 North in Gardnerville. • Fridays, starting at 5:30 is when the Friday Night Meet in Fernley starts. RENO, NV (Oct. 8) — This weekend the last major national series ends its 2023 season. In our region there are three races left, an awards banquet as well as a test event at a renewed motocross track. There is a lot of racing in other series still to come as well as a bunch of car meets. Fortunately the weather for this weekend looks good.
