RENO, NV (Jan. 31) — January is ending and that means more racing nationally and here when a major event visits Reno plus a local off-road series starts. February brings more national and regional racing as well. CAR MEETS: • The Iron Mafia again gets the weekend rolling at 7 a.m. Thursday. Location is Kim’s Donuts at 1328 U.S.395 North in Gardnerville. • Later on Thursday, Junkee has its monthly Volkswagen Night. RENO, NV (Jan.3) — Well here we are in the New Year and we’re finally leaving the Re-Run Zone. Racing has begun and this weekend two major series will get rolling as well as local car meets. One thing to keep in mind is that all the meets and races here and in Northern California are subject to change depending on the incoming weather. RENO, NV (Dec. 27) — As we bid good-by to 2023 things are starting to happen in the world of Motorsports. Over the next three weeks two oval track events will see the green flag, a classic off-road event starts and the starting gate drops kicking off the start of Supercross.
