RENO, NV (Jan. 13) – This week’s Racing Preview shows we’re heading out from the Re-Run Zone. There is plenty of racing as well as a car meet going on. ANNOUNCEMENT: • Northern Nevada Kart Club has been doing construction on its home track, Desert Park Raceway, this week. The track will be closed through Friday but, unless an update is sent, it will be open for practice starting on Saturday. RENO, NV (Jan. 6) – Although we’re still pretty much in the Re-Run Zone racing is starting to appear both on TV, the Internet as well as in our region. As we work our way into the New Year it can only get better. CAR MEETS: • There are two car meets this weekend and both start about 10 a.m. Sunday morning, January 10. RENO, NV (Dec 30) – Well here we are, the final Racing Preview of 2020 and we’re about to head into 2021. And thankfully we’re taking the first steps away from the Re-Run Zone and getting to live racing. RENO, NV (Dec. 1 6) – We are well and truly in the Re-Run Zone for the next couple of weeks. This annual event will end on New Year’s weekend with a small explosion of racing events in our region. CAR MEETS: • Reno Cars & Coffee stages it’s second meet of the month this Sunday starting at 1e0 a.m. All types of vehicles are welcome and the location is at the Del Rio Pub and Grill on the west side of Reno. RACING PREVIEW: DEC. 10 TO 13 RENO, NV (Dec. 9) – This week marks the end of the Formula 1 season that almost seemed it would never end. With the last major series done now we’re deep in the Re-Run Zone as far as TV goes but there are a few car events happing in our immediate area. CAR/CHARITY MEETS: • Sunday is a busy day as over at Buffalo Wild Wings in Sparks its time for Sparks and Coffee to hold its monthly meeting. Overseas Formula 1 wraps up its season and we’re getting deeper into the Re-Run Zone. CAR MEETS: • Reno Cars & Coffee gets the month rolling Sunday with it’s meet at the Keitzke Starbucks but this time it’s the group’s 5th Annual Toy Run.
