RENO, NV (March 3) — This week’s Racing Preview has announcements right after the TV schedule. There is also racing down south plus MX practice session and a race over the hill this week but within the next three weeks all type of racing gets going. CAR MEET: • As is traditional Reno Cars & Coffee gets the month rolling with it first weekend of the month meet. Location is the Kietzke Starbucks at 10 a.m. Sunday and if the weather is nice should be another great turn out. This event is a great opportunity to meet car people and

RENO, NV (Feb. 1 7) – While it hasn’t been a full week of racing there is plenty this weekend. Racing Preview will highlight most of them. CAR MEETS: • There is an unusual meet Saturday starting at noon on Saturday.  It’s Mud Fest Spring and happens at the Chickadee Pits and there will be tug of wars, music as well as mud drags. A good time to bring some rain gear and plan to get muddy. • Sunday starting at 10 a.m. is when Reno Cars & Coffee has a meet at the Del Real Pub and Grill in

RENO, NV (Feb. 10) – Once again Racing Preview is highlighting almost a full week of racing thanks to NASCAR. Our region has the first race of this new year but this time I’ll start with announcements. ANNOUNCEMENT: • Late last week received the notice about the Virginia City Grand Prix. Due to the restrictions it has been postponed to the weekend of October 23-24. RENO, NV (Feb.3) – Racing Preview this week will be a bit shorter as I’m focused on racing and not on the Re-Run Zone. Yes it’s time for green flags to start waving and the 2021 season to get started. ANNOUNCEMENTS: • MotoMedX is a group founded by Reno Fire Department Captain Steve Clark. His goal is to get a group of trained volunteers that will help provide safety at motocycle races and rides. To accomplish this he has two sessions in March where the volunteers will have professional training. If you ride and want to give back to the

CAR MEETS: • When this was posted I could not find any car meets for this fifth weekend of the month. However one might check with Reno Cars & Coffee on Thursday or Friday just see if something is scheduled. ANNOUNCEMENTS: • Two of them relate to MRANN. The first is that this weekend’s ride and banquet has been postponed. However it’s been rescheduled for March 20th at Riverfront outside of Marysville. Next month is MRANN’s first race of

RENO, NV (Jan. 20) – This week’s Racing Preview puts one foot back into the Re-Run Zone as it’s a bit calmer than last weekend. However there is still racing and more to come.
