RENO, NV (Feb 9) — Spring is getting closer by the day so there are car meets, some racing as the sport has a lull for Super Bowl weekend. Still there is enough for any car or race fan to see.  CAR MEETS: • Things get going at 9 a.m. Saturday when the Nevada Jeep Club has Jeep & Java & Parts Swap in Carson City. RENO, NV (Feb.2) — Second month of the New Year starts off with a bang as there is a car meet, motocross action as well as NASCAR’s first race of the year. Now racing is heading for even more events in the coming weeks.  CAR MEETS:  • On Thursday, at 7:30 p.m. Reno Corvettes has its monthly meeting at the Bonanza Casino located at 4720 North Virginia in Reno. All years and all models are welcome to these meetings.  • Reno Cars & Coffee gets the month going with it first weekend of the month meet at the Keitzke Starbucks. 

 RENO, NV (Jan. 26) — Since it’s the fifth weekend of the month not much is happening locally except for one group. However racing is winding up both nationally, internationally and over the hill.  CAR MEETS: • No word if Carson Cars & Coffee is going to have a pop up event but always pays to check their Face Book page.  • On Saturday the Nevada Jeep Club is having a family ride. RENO, NV (Jan. 19) — Hard to believe but the first month of the year is almost over. RENO, NV (Jan.12) — Here we are, halfway through January and there is racing. Overseas the Dakar Rally is heading for it’s final day this weekend while here in the U.S. the Chili Bowl is working its way to the mains on Saturday.  In our immediate area we have a car meet while over the hill there is MX practice. RENO, NV (Jan.5) — Well here we are in the New Year and racing has started with a bang. In this area we car meets, racing to the south but soon local racing will follow.  CAR MEETS: • Things get going Saturday at 3 p.m. when the Nevada Jeep Club has its first Wine, Women and Jeeps event. RENO, NV (Dec. 29) — As we say good by to one year and welcome a New Year there are a few things happening.
