RENO, NV (JUNE 27) – With the July 4th holiday coming up there is racing to watch, attend and enjoy for the weekend. If not racing then cruising and car shows can also be things to enjoy. • CRUISE AND CAR SHOWS: This week’s Thursday cruise in Carson City, from 5 until 7:30 p.m. will start at Buffalo Wild Wings located at 3815 S. Selections are cruises and car shows, racing in this region as well as much motorsports to view on TV on the Internet. • Cruise and Car Shows: Friday’s cruise in Carson City, from 5 until 7:30 p.m. will start at Bully’s Sports Bar located at 3530 N. RENO, NV (June 13) – It’s another full Racing Preview this week and I’m adding a new section. Here in Northwest Nevada it’s the season of the Cruise so I’ll be previewing those. First however I’ll turn the spotlight on local racing then follow with the other things. Lovelock Speedway gets the weekend’s racing started at 7 p.m. Friday. Rattlesnake Raceway will be in action this Saturday evening. This weekend they introduce the new Outlaw Kart track inside the big oval. RENO, NV (June 6) – This week’s Racing Preview is full of events going on in our area as well as what’s happening in the region and across the country. The big event here is the annual Octane Fest in Fallon. While there will be no cars or go-kart racing at Rattlesnake Raceway there are other events there. Friday night everything gets going around 6 p.m. with several different types of races. RENO, NV (May 30) – Racing Preview for this week has several events in our region as well as national and internationally plus events streamed live on the Internet. One of the big events for Reno is the annual Street Vibrations Spring Rally. It’s all downtown and begins Friday and runs through Sunday. Another Sunday event is the first weekend of the month Reno Cars and Coffee meet, from 10 until 2 p.m. at the Kietzke Starbucks on Sunday. RENO, NV (May 23) – As we head into the biggest racing weekend of the year Racing Preview has events listed for this region as well as national and international. First of all there are a couple of cancellations to note. Originally this weekend was supposed to be a triple-header for local racers but it’s not to be as both Lovelock Speedway and Fernley 95A Speedway have canceled their events.
