RENO, NV (July 20) — Another summer weekend ahead of us, one that has an oval track event plus a bunch of car events. CAR MEETS: • Saturday begins at 8 a.m. at Lampe Park in Gardnerville. It’s the 9th annual “Send a Scout to Camp Car Show,” and is part of the HAN Event Series. Awards will be handed out at 3 p.m. • Sunday has two events. RENO, NV (May 24) — This is probably the biggest racing weekend of the year. In addition there is racing as well as car meets in our region. The buffet table is overflowing and Mother Nature is going to bless us with good weather. CAR MEETS: • The weekend gets rolling as the first of 10 Thursday Cruznites gets going. It’s easy to get to as one goes north on 395 then turns west on Highway 70. The location is the Chilcoot Frosty & Goodwins General Store. RENO, NV (MAY 17) — Going to be a very warm weekend, one full of car meets, a cruise to Lake Tahoe as well as two oval tracks in action and a motocross.
