RENO, NV (Oct. 12) — A charity poker run for motorcycles as well as car meets fill this weekend. There are still races to be seen on TV and some Internet sites. CAR MEETS: • The weekend get rolling when Carson Cars & Coffee has a Trunk or Treat meet at the Carson Mall Shopping Center. The Mall is located at the south end of the City and north of the Rail Road Museum. Set up is from 6 until 7 p.m. and Trunk or Treating starts at 7:15. There are 5 trophies available for the best trunk. Good time

RENO, NV (Sept. 28) — As we exit September and head into the Bewitching month of October with a flurry of events. There are plenty of car meets while another Northern Nevada oval track ends its season. There are a bunch of events on TV both national and international.  CAR MEETS: • Hot August Nights is hosting its Fall Frenzy and Coat Drive from 9 until 2 p.m. Saturday. RENO, NV (Sept. 21) — Fall started yesterday and we’re about to say good-by to Septembrt, but the area is going to be full of car meets as well as Street Vibrations Fall Rally. There are two groups ending their racing seasons this weekend not to mention what’s on TV.  CAR & MOTORCYCLE MEEETS:• Biggest event this week is the annual Street Vibrations Fall Rally. A 4-day celebration of motorcycles that turns our area into Sturgis West.  There will be events at Reno Harley-Davidson as well as Battle Born Harley Davison in Carson City. RENO, NV (Sept. 14) — As summer winds down tracks are starting to end their seasons yet there is still more racing to come. There are car shows and cruise-ins to enjoy as well as events on TV.  CAR MEETS: • Down at the Topaz Lodge and Casino, south of Gardnerville, there is the 12th annual Cruz ‘N Shine, a Show & Shine car show. Now that Labor Day is area tracks and professional series are getting ready to bring the curtain down on their seasons but there still is more to go.  CAR MEETS & CRUISES: • Saturday, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. is the 2nd Annual Genoa Customs & Classics Car Show in the downtown area.
